Patrick Emerling and Joey Gase Have Made a Xfinity Series Team

It has been announced that NASCAR Cup Series/Xfinity Series driver Joey Gase will be teaming up with Patrick Emerling, who is most famous for his Whelen Modified Tour career to form Emerling-Gase Motorsports (EGM) in the Xfinity Series. The team is set to run two cars with one of them (#35) to run full time as the other set to run on a part time schedule, as of now there has been no car number released for the second car. Overall, the driver line up will have the likes of Joey Gase, Patrick Emerling and Shane Lee with other drivers being announced at a later date. It is unclear if the team will have a full-time driver, but it does look likely that Gase would be the driver if the team does elect to have a full timer with the no.35 car. With the forming of the team this makes Gase and Emerling two of the youngest owners in the sport, EGM is set to make its debut at the 2022 Daytona Speedweeks for the Xfinity Series.
