Nikki Chambrello Steps Away From SKL Racing After 2022 Season Absence

It was announced that Nikki Chambrello will be stepping away from the SK Light scene. This comes after the #4 modified sat out the entire 2022 racing season at the Stafford Motor Speedway.

Nikki Chambrello Motorsports cited the step away due to financial reason(s). This is leading the team to sell the modified which only raced two seasons (2020-2021).

Chambrello raced Quarter Midgets for five years up and down the East Coast where she had over 200 top-3 finishes. Her Friday night racing career at Stafford Motor Speedway started back in 2014 when she raced the DARE Stocks (now known as the Street Stocks), she had 4-wins, 25-top 5s and 70-top 10s in a total of 88-races entered.

Moving up to the SK Light division for the 2020 season, Chambrello would make 10-starts where she finished inside the top-10 once. 2021 would have her finish 17th in points with 318-points after making 18 starts.

Nikki Chambrello Motorsports said that "We are closing this chapter in our racing career." as the race ready SK Light is now up for sale. NCM did not fully announce the closure of the team as it was stated "We are 100% sure we will be doing something fun." Nevertheless the former 2017 Street Stock most popular driver made a positive impact at the levels she raced at the Stafford Speedway.
