Justin Bonsignore Wins Fall Final Along With Whelen Modified Tour Championship At Stafford Speedway

Move over Doug Coby, Ryan Preece and Woody Pitkat, Stafford Speedway now has a new modified winner to add to their list!

Over the past weekend we saw Fall Final take place at the historic Stafford Speedway as the Whelen Modified Tour was in town for championship weekend. It was Justin Bonsignore vs Patrick Emerling for the championship going into the race with only a 16-point separation with Bonsignore p1 in the points. At the beginning of the season it was Emerling who got it done in the Spring Sizzler at the track after a massive crash caused by Ryan Preece took place, the race was then red flagged but never went back green due to rain and show playing into effect, making Emerling the winner. Bonsignore is always strong at the track located right on the CT-MASS border, but overall he sat 0-39 when it came to winning at the track, overall though Bonsignore did not need to win to get the championship as all his job was just to finish in front of Emerling.

Bonsignore did what he is paid to do, he ran great and finished in front of Emerling. In fact folks he finished in front of everyone as Justin Bonsignore wins it at the Stafford Motor Speedway, good ol’ lucky no.40. 40-attempts it took for the no.51 to show up in victory lane. It was pure Saturday night under the lights racing as Justin Bonsignore is now a 3x champion of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour!
