The NASCAR Xfinity Series Has A New Team On The Grid, And It's Patriotic

The NASCAR Xfinity Series just got a new team on the grid as Truck Series/Xfinity driver Jesse Iwuji has partnered up with NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith to form Jesse Iwuji Motorsports (JIM.)

This comes as many drivers and former sports stars, along with singers have been making their own teams in the sport of auto racing. JIM will compete full time in the Xfinity Series starting in 2022, but for now it is unclear what number will be on the side of the car along with the manufacturer or if there is any sort of team alliance. Jesse Iwuji is a former football player for the USNA and was active duty Navy from 2010-2017, he is now currently in the U.S. Navy Reserves. It is without a doubt that this is the most patriotic team on the grid, will it be the most successful? Well we'll have to wait and see.

I had the chance to interview Jesse a few years back on his football career, Navy Service and his racing career. The interview is linked below.
