Camping World SRX Series drivers Greg Biffle and Michael Waltrip showed interest over this past racing weekend in racing at the Stafford Motor Speedway outside of the SRX Series. On Saturday the SRX Series made its way down to Stafford for its inaugural race, marking a historic day for the racing world, but before that we had weekly racing on Friday night.
As cars in the Street Stock division made their way on track led by the no.94 New York Sports Show Monte Carlo driven by Christopher Danielczuk, former Cup Series driver and current SRX Series driver Michael Waltrip recorded it and posted it on his personal YouTube. At the 1:05 mark of the video Waltrip saw the no.22 Rent A Racecar and stated "Rent A Racecar, maybe I can ride in that." With that said Waltrip showed interest enough to say that almost right away when he saw the no.22. Rent A Racecar provides everything you would need to get you on the track along with your racing career started, so it would not be hard at all for Waltrip to get strapped into a car.
As for Greg Biffle who finished second in the SRX race behind local Modified favorite Doug Coby he expressed that he would love to get in a SK Modified and said that if so, Stafford would be the place. In a post race interview Biffle stated "I would probably come back here, Loudon looks a little bit fast for me in a Modified, but I watched the guys earlier tonight and it looks like a lot of fun, I would definitely be interested in driving a modified here." With that said will we be seeing Greg Biffle at Stafford soon? Unlike Michael Waltrip Biffle does not compete full time in the SRX Series, so Biffle would have more free time to come down and race.
It would be very fun to see these two very talented driver race against a whole field of the local weekly stars.
