Doug Coby To Make Truck Series Debut Tonight

A true short trackin’ to big show story: Doug Coby to make first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start tonight. Doug Coby has been in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour since 2002, in those 20-years and 256 races along with 36,000+ laps he is finally getting a shot in the bigs. Tonight, September 16th, 2021 the Veteran racer from Milford Connecticut will be racing at the Bristol Motor Speedway for GMS Racing. Coby will be starting p30 alongside Dawson Cram and Tate Fogleman.

It was announced several months ago that Coby got the ride just after his SRX win at the Stafford Motor Speedway as he held off the likes of Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle. That win was a true statement showing that local guys can compete and win against the big boys of racing.
