Oscar Piastri Announced Alpine F1 Driver For 2023

Fernando Alonso announced his departure from Alpine on Monday, August 2nd, as he signed a multi-year deal with Aston Martin. Alonso’s move to Aston Martin for 2023 and beyond to is replacing seat of the retiring Sebastian Vettel. Now, replacing Fernando Alonso’s empty 2023 seat is reigning Formula 2 Champion Oscar Piastri, a driver who has been in the driver academy for four years. So Alpine is looking at having Esteban Ocon and Oscar Piastri for their 2023 driver lineup with Ocon being the #1 driver.
