Charles Leclerc has 71 points through the first three races of the 2022 Formula One season; he has won two races out of those three. More than safe to say that Ferrari is back, both Leclerc and his teammate Carlos Sainz have led the red team to a total of 104 constructor points. It has been clear since day one that the team will be contending for a championship, but with Red Bull’s misfortunes along with Mercedes’ general lack of power it seems that Ferrari is in its own league. Overall it is extremely early in the season, but with a 34-point lead over second place it looks like Leclerc is already running away with what would be his first championship trophy.
