Formula One Cancels 2022 Russian GP As War Rages On In Ukraine

Formula One announced ear Friday morning that they have canceled the 2022 Russian Grand Prix. The cancellation comes just several days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, sparking war in Europe for the first time since 1939. Several drivers have publicity made announcements prior to the cancellation saying they would not compete at the GP. As of now there is no replacement on the schedule for the September 25th race.
