Fernando Alonso Signs Multiyear Contract To Take Over Sebastian Vettel’s Seat In 2023

Two-time champion Fernando Alonso has signed a multi-year contract that will have him leave Alpine and go over to Aston Martin. The moves comes just several days after Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel announced retirement at the end of the 2022 season. Alonso will be partnered with Lance Stroll, a veteran driver of Formula One and also the son to the team’s owner, Lawrence. As of now it has not been announced who will replace Alonso’s seat at Alpine.
