Australian Grand Prix Cancelled; Fill In Race To Be Announced Soon

It was announced in the early morning hours of Tuesday that the Australian Grand Prix was cancelled after being rescheduled to race in November. This is due to the on going COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions that the country has in place. With over 30,000 cases and 910 deaths the country down below sees around 37 cases per 7-day average, but over the past several days the new Delta variant has broken out in the country.

With that said we will not see a race in Australia this 2021 Formula season, so that bring up the question in "Who will replace it?" Formula One said in a statement that they have a "number of options" to replace the event. With the Brazilian Grand Prix just two weeks before it after the Mexican GP (three weeks.) We will most likely see a double header take place with Brazil or Mexico due to travel and a time frame being the main factors.
