Australian GP Draws In Historic Crowds

The Australian Grand Prix came back on the F1 schedule after a multi-year absence due to COVID. The circuit featured a changed layout for faster speeds with the cutting of sever corners and new DRS zones. Charles Leclerc won the pole and led every lap en route to the win for the Ferrari constructor. The biggest news coming out of the race is the crowd number as 419,114 people were in attendance for the Grand Prix, marking it as the largest sporting event in Australian history. It was also a huge day for Formula One and the sport of auto racing as a whole due to the number of people that help the fanbase(s) continue growth.
