Newly Formed 3F Racing Looks To Make NASCAR History

A new NASCAR Cup Series team is joining the grid and in the process it will make NASCAR history. With the introduction of the NextGen car we have seen many new teams and driver opportunities, almost a mirror to the late 2000s and early 2010s with European drivers to NASCAR. Ex Formula One drivers Daniil Kvyat and Kimi Raikkonen are racing this 2022 season in the NASCAR Cup Series, now a foreign team has joined the grid.

3F Racing hopes to be first ever German-lead team in NASCAR. 3F Racing, short for Three Friends Racing, is hopeful to complete in the final five races of 2022 with a part-time eye for 2023, eventually moving to full-time operations by the 2024 season. The team will have a former LeMans winner behind the wheel in the 2022 Charlotte Roval race, then switching to a U.S. driver for the rest of 2022.

As of now there have been no sponsorships or drivers announced for the team. 3F will race under the No.30 with Chevrolet as the manufacturer.
