Kyle Busch Takes Over Former No.3 Car After Duel Crash

Kyle Busch was dumped on the back straightaway during the second Daytona Duel by Daniel Suarez. Busch was in the lead and dominated the first half of the race before going straight into the wall, in a post-crash interview Busch claimed that he had a Daytona 500 winning car.

With a torn up race car it was back to the drawing board for the RCR No.8 crew, and with that to the disadvantage of Kyle Busch, who will not get a full feel of his new car until race day.

A picture surfaced online showing KB’s new ride and it looks to be Austin Dillon’s backup car. You can see the outline of Dillon’s No.3 on the side, now covered by Busch’s No.8 that is set for the Daytona 500. With that Kyle Busch will be behind the former No.3 car, as the future hall of fame driver looks to get his first Daytona 500 victory.
