Jeb Burton Makes NASCAR History Upside Down

Jeb Burton made NASCAR history during Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Pocono. On a lap 47 restart, Santino Ferucci got sideways and spun into traffic, collecting Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and throwing up smoke. Coming off of turn three of the tricky triangle track was Jeb Burton, who like many other drivers were trying to avoid the crash. Ricky Stenhouse Jr’s car collided at just a good enough angle to send Jeb Burton flip and land upside down, sliding for several feet before coming to a rest. That flip was the 500th flip in NASCAR history and all it took was a lot of damaged cars over the past several decades. Fortunately Jeb Burton was ok after his car went into airplane mode for a second. Burton finished p33 as Noah Gragson went on to win.
