On Sunday, August 21st, at Watkins Glen International we will see two Formula One drivers take the NASCAR Cup Series grid. Daniil Kvyat and Kimi Raikkonen will be competing at The Gen for the Go Bowling At The Glen, a race on the road course in upstate New York that will feature 90 laps. Daniil Kvyat will be making his second career Cup Series start, fresh off his debut several weeks ago at the Indy Road Course where he finished p36 with Team Hezeberg. Kimi Raikkonen will be making his Cup Series debut with Trackhouse Racing, the last time Raikkonen raced in NASCAR came back in 2011 where he made a Truck Series start along with an Xfinity Series start. Both drivers have a combined F1 experience of about 25 years, nevertheless the fact that two ex-F1 drivers are on the grid will sure make for an interesting race.
