Frank Williams, the founder of the Williams Formula 1 team and who was the longest-serving team principal the sport has ever seen, has died at 79. Williams F1 was founded in 1977 and dominated much of the 1980s and 1990s and over the years combined to win a total of 117 races along with seven drivers' titles and nine constructors' championships. Williams was admitted into a hospital on Friday where he died early in the morning today.
